Ground

Our picturesque ground is located in a quiet rural setting within easy reach of the M3 & M4, equidistant between Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke.

It boasts a high quality square prepared with loving care by our own groundsman and a good outfield. We have exceptionally good net facilities which are available to members every Thursday evening and weekends to hone an individual’s skill.

For the children there is a fully enclosed playground with swings, slide climbing frame etc. There is also a basket hoop for the older children as well as room to play numerous ball games.

Pavilion

MWECC is very proud of it’s facilities. The pavilion is excellently maintained and provides changing and shower rooms for both home and visiting teams. The comfortably furnished lounge creates a safe play area for children, and refreshments are available from the well equipped bar or kitchen. The kitchen also provides traditional cricket teas, and summer barbeques by prior arrangement.
